  • What are the frames made of?
    All of our frames are made of Italian acetate. Learn more about our manufacturing process here.

  • What kind of reading glasses do you offer?
    You can learn more about our lenses here. All of our reading glasses come standard as polycarbonate lenses, with an AR coating. When you upgrade to blue light protection, the lenses are a 1.56 index, optical quality lens with specialty coating.

  • Who needs reading glasses?
    Anyone who might need a little help seeing the small print. This typically starts to happen in our late 30s (gasp, we know!) and our early 40s. We do offer a plano (0.00 strength) option for anyone who just loves the look of glasses, or who might want the AR coating only to help cut glare.

  • What color are your sunglass lens?
    We currently offer our lenses in gray and brown, depending on the color of the frame. The colors are comparable in how much light they transmit. Both are polarized and offer 100% UV protection.

  • Do your sunglasses offer UV protection?
    Yes! All of our sunlenses have 100% UVA and UVB protection.

  • How do your frames fit?
    We’ve strived for a fit that will work for most face shapes. If for some reason they don’t seem to work for you, let us know and we can process a return or walk you through the best way to get them adjusted, if possible.

  • Do you accept insurance?
    Sometimes? Sort of? Let us explain. We don’t accept insurance, but we can help you process a claim if your readers or sunglasses are covered. You have two options. You can email us for an itemized receipt, which you can then send to your insurance company for reimbursement. Or, you can visit our insurance page here, to submit (TBH a lot of private) information so that we can use a company called Anagram to process the claim on your behalf. You pay us, they pay you. Don’t worry, it’s encrypted.

  • Can I speak with a person?
    It’s true, we don’t publish our phone number. We’re a small administrative team, and we aren’t always at a desk. That being said, if you really want to talk to us, shoot us an email at, and we’ll give you a call.



  • How long does an order take?
    We aim to ship all orders within 2 business days. If you need a status update, feel free to email us at You’ll receive an order confirmation when you place your order, and then an additional confirmation when it ships. 

  • Where do you ship and how much does it cost?
    We currently only ship to locations in the United States of America. We offer free shipping over $50. Anything under that has a flat rate $5 shipping fee. Everything is shipped via USPS. We hope to offer international shipping soon! Sign up for emails and follow us on socials to stay in the loop.

  • I have a promotion/coupon code, how do I use it?
    To use a promotion or coupon code, add desired items to your cart and continue to checkout page. Enter the code in the “coupon code” box in your cart and hit “ok”! Only one promo code can be applied per order.

  • What is your exchange policy? How about returns?
    We offer a 30-day return and exchange policy, except for custom orders. You’re responsible for return shipping (your own label or $5 to use ours). Once received we’ll get your exchange right back, or process your refund. Refunds can take 3 – 5 business days to hit your account, depending on your banking/credit card company.   • What payment methods are accepted?

  • Do you offer gift cards or gift receipts?

  • I broke my frame! Help!
    Did you break your frame? Let us know. We’ll see what can be done. We understand that things happen and want to make sure you’re happy.

  • I scratched my lenses, what can I do?
    We offer a one-year replacement (1 time) for scratched lenses. We understand that things can happen. You may also purchase an additional 2nd year protection at checkout. This gives you additional replacement options, and will also include frame buffs/touch-ups if needed.
